I just want to say that I care about each and everyone of you! Some of you I have a lot of love for. I’m very happy that I was born in America! There are a lot of worse places to be born. I actually consider myself to be very lucky. However Pride can be a dangerous thing. How can you take pride in something that you had nothing to do with. Whether I’m the smartest man on earth or the dumbest; the poorest or the richest I’m still an American! I had no say or impact on where I was born, what race I am, how tall I am or what my last name is. I do take pride in the things that I have accomplished. Taking the right path when God puts it in front of me. I’m proud of my trade. I’m proud to be a father and I’m proud to have such an amazing wife. I’m proud of all of you for your accomplishments and the families that you started.
America is not the government or some flag that people wave that was most likely manufactured in China. America is the people! We are being divided by our own government and by outside entities. We have to stop falling for it! Band together with your fellow Americans take up there cause and strength in this country! I have an American flag waving in my front yard but it is just a symbol. It is not more important nor can it take the place of our fellow Americans. I stand for the national anthem when I go to sporting events, I don’t burn Flags, I have fond memories of saying the Pledge of Allegiance in school. Those are my experiences not somebody else’s. I don’t judge other people by the way I grew up. I support fellow Americans in their causes while at the same time honoring my own structure routines and beliefs. We are the only ones that can change the world. It won’t happen while we’re sitting here arguing over semantics

Simple concept
I think most of us remember the wwjd bracelets and bumper stickers. Even though it seems silly or cheesy and I myself may have made fun of them a time or two the foundation for peace and happiness lies in that simple concept. Not just what would Jesus do but what would Gandhi do what would Muhammad do what would Buddha do what would Martin Luther King jr do? We have many good examples to go by. Would any of them hate, turn his back on, or kill somebody because they live differently, dressed differently, or worship God differently? I believe they would talk to people, show them love and offer guidance.
We have to ask ourselves does the way I think, act, or treat others benefit mankind? Do you hide behind ignorance and take the easy way out? Do you want and promote equality among everyone or just among you and your kind? Do we really want peace and happiness for all? We are all human made imperfect. We are not supposed to know all the answers. Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of Things Not Seen (Hebrews 11:1). The things you think are right are most certainly incorrect in some way. Having differences should promote healthy debate and intelligence not hate and ignorance. Have open dialogue listen to each other and respect each other for our differences. God made us all unique not so we can be divided but so we can learn from each other. Don’t take the easy way by hiding behind close-mindedness and bigotry. If you were wrong by somebody don’t wrong someone else. That is a cycle of negativity and evil that will continue until it’s stopped by good deeds andn love.
God is Love
God does not hate! God is love. Love is the one thing that will bind us all together. Don’t let worldly concerns and problems influence how you treat other people. I believe there is one true God and he reveals himself differently to each person. I believe the people that spread spirituality and love are all prophets of God. Imagine if we could all find common ground in this area. Buddha, Muhammad, Jesus and others like them are spiritual teachers there to guide us. No matter what you believe in I promise you one thing there is a force that binds us all together some call it karma some call it the Holy Spirit, love, positive energy. We need to stop focusing on our differences and realize what we all have in common.
If we stopped caring about and worshiping things like money, material possessions, stuff that can’t love you back and focus on doing what’s right for us spiritually those other things will work themselves out. Only love faith and charity can make your soul wealthy. Immortality can only be achieved by letting go of the physical gratification and allow your spirit to guide you.
Even an atheist that spreads love and kindness is doing God’s work whether he realizes it or not. Eventually that person will be surrounded by love, Karma, the Holy Spirit, positive energy and he will be rewarded.
The real teaching of Jesus
A lot of people think that the Bible is full of metaphors and is left to interpretation. In some ways they are right. Jesus talked in a lot of parables, there are a lot of hidden meanings and things you have to read for yourself to understand. However the most important things in the teachings of Jesus are very plain to see. I challenge all of you to read the New Testament, read about Jesus and how he change things from the old ways. Jesus constantly spoke out against vain tradition, hypocrisy and corruption in the church. Jesus was a rebel, he didn’t fall in line and do what he was told he spoke the truth no matter what the cost. He question authority and put the well-being of others above all else.
Some people have taken what he died for and twisted it to suit their own needs and agendas. His final commandment was to love each other as he had loved us. Not to love somebody only if they look like you or share the same ideals as you.
True Faith powered by love can make a comeback. All the people of the world that hope for peace and promote love must band together in order to change the world. Christians,Muslims, Jews and atheists alike must let love guide them and speak to their hearts. Don’t let the extremists in religion or politics rule our world!
The true message of faith and love
Through patients prayer and love God has taught me that having faith means not having to know all the answers. Organized religion, religious extremists and fanatics have ruined the idea of God for a lot of people but I know through love and understand that can be changed.
If we all understand that it’s not important to be right about everything and that is more important to just follow the teachings of the people that God has put in our lives people like Jesus, Muhammad, Gandhi and Martin Luther King then we will truly be doing God’s work.
First I would like to talk about Jesus and what he really taught and how he really wanted us to live. Then later I would like to talk about how God reveals himself differently to each person. How do we know that different religions aren’t really worshiping the same God? He goes by many names Yahweh, Jehovah and even Allah. There is so much we still don’t understand and have to learn from each other. I hope this message opens your mind and inspires you if it does please pass it on to others.
